EPI-Tech (Empowering People in Tech) was founded with one belief: Tech should be accessible to everyone. A while ago, the founder was struggling to find her path into the tech world. Coming from a background where she never had to look for a job, she had to start from scratch to transition into tech. With a growth mindset and relentless practice, she successfully secured 5 internships in roles she was passionate about within a year.
In that same period, while searching deeply for tech knowledge, she took courses in data analysis, business analysis, project management, virtual assistant, cybersecurity etc. Along the way, she realized how confusing and intimidating it can be to enter the tech industry without guidance especially for the Black Community and for Women.
That’s why she started EPI-Tech: to be the mentor she wished she had when she was starting out. She has helped hundreds of people build their career confidence. Today, we’re proud to support students, career changers, and professionals at every stage of their journey.
After seeing countless people who wanted to break into the industry but were held back by confusing career paths, expensive training programs, and lack of mentorship, we made it our mission to empower individuals with practical skills, real-world experience, and personalized coaching so they can confidently pursue careers in technology. We don’t just teach, we transform.
